Pretty Witty Nell. Saturday 28th November 2009

Pretty Witty Nell.
A One woman performance about the life of Nell Gwyn.
Written and performed by Caroline Harding.

Nell Gwyn, Herefordshire’s historical totty and the most popular mistress of Charles II, takes the audience on the journey of her radiant, bittersweet life and adventures. With the King on his death bed, and creditors knocking on her door, Nell tells all. From the gutters of Covent Garden to a glittering stage career, her life with Charles lasted 17 years. His last words were of her. An evening of effervescence and irreverence.
