Emily Brooks and Mama Brooksie are so excited to be sharing their first joint offering this August — a nourishing retreat day designed to help you release, reconnect, and simply enjoy being you.
Join them for a soul‑soothing blend of yoga, vision boarding, drumming, vocal activation, and meditation, all held in the cosy charm of Quatt Village Hall — a beautiful, historic, fully accessible space that instantly feels like a warm hug.
You’ll also enjoy a full, delicious lunch, time to unwind, and the freedom to explore what it feels like to be fully, freely yourself.

Bayliss and Seal
Looking for a special treat for Mothers Day? Join us in Quatt for a wonderful afternoon of live music.
Add a cream tea with homemade scones.
To make this day extra special, we are offering, the mother figure in your life a free ticket with every 2 tickets purchased, because we love mums too.
21st century folk -inspired music from Joe Bayliss and Mike Seal.
Influenced by John Martyn, Damien Rice and Nick Drake, Joe and Mike are really at home interacting with their audience.
By their own words…
“ the oldest – ‘new kids on the block’ in the folk world in the last 12 years”, they bring a life’s experience, portrayed in a contemporary way , weaving humorous back-stories with sensitive, thought provoking songs, soothing melodies and imaginative metaphors that intersperse, carefully crafted lyrical pictures.
They can have you laughing at the introduction and crying three minutes later from the beauty of an emotional experience.
Singer songwriters who absolutely, writes and performs from the soul.
The renowned upright bass player – Mike Seal joined Joe in 2023 with a considerable background in Folk, Jazz and Blues music and adds further sensitivity and atmosphere to the musical experience.
"Telling a story that people can relate to, is so important to me with my songs,
but what comes first, every time, is the sound - always searching for open chords, dissonance, resonance, tension...
and from that comes an atmosphere, a direction of feeling that the song needs to take,
that almost describes the lyrics that follow."
Joe and Mike are big supporters of Acorns Children's Hospice, so we will be holding a raffle to raise funds on the day.
Tickets are £16 per person and includes a cream tea.
